My mom is down visiting and helping out with the kids while I waddle my way through the last few weeks of this pregnancy. We really enjoy spending time with the children and taking them to do things that I would not normally do alone. Dante was spending a few hours with some friends one afternoon, so mom and I decided to take the kids to a local creek to play. Once we arrived, it became apparent that they were "restructuring" the creek so that the sides were not as steep. The end result was a lot of mud on each creek bank. Fortunately, I had extra clothing for the kiddos in the van. We spent about an hour and they had great fun getting muddy and wet. We headed for ice cream afterwards.
